Why 1-Day Halloween Lenses Changed Everything
Costumes and makeup are great, but nothing transforms your look faster than coloured contact lenses. Before 2010, most special-effects lenses were monthly or multi-use. They needed cleaning, cases and solutions — sensible for regular wear, but not for the millions who celebrate Halloween one night a year.
In 2009, our founder Riz Navsarka (3× Young Entrepreneur of the Year) designed a simpler solution: 1-Day Halloween contact lenses you can open, wear for the party, and safely discard afterwards. Another World-First: 1-Day Glow (MesmerGlow)
After inventing the daily disposable format for Halloween, we pushed further. In early 2012, MesmerEyez launched the world’s first 1-Day Glow (MesmerGlow) contact lenses — UV-reactive effects with the same one-night convenience.
